THE PARTNERS

Together Design Lab at Ryerson University takes a collaborative approach to investigating and creating innovative solutions to housing issues with marginalized communities in Canada. Led by Dr. Shelagh McCartney, Together Design Lab relies on an immersive model of partnership to understand the meaning of housing in shaping lived experience. Housing issues and solutions are not limited to discussions of basic shelter provision but are understood as central unit of analysis of personal and community well-being. As project Consultants, TDL will be providing support, subject matter expertise and professional services for this project. As place-making professionals with experience working in partnership, TDL will bring relevant project experience, subject matter expertise, and facilitation and public engagement skills. TDL will be responsible for the development of Lab activities and workshop materials, facilitation and knowledge dissemination throughout all stages of the Solutions Lab.
